Cotton Tree Lodge
Punta GordaNestled between unspoiled rainforest and the banks of the Moho River, Cotton Tree Lodge offers a tranquil, eco-friendly retreat on 100 private acres in the undiscovered Toledo District. One of the unique attractions is on-site chocolate production, where cocoa beans are transformed into chocolate bars.
The lodge is "off the grid" and has an environmental focus, while still offering the amenities to keep guests comfortable. Electricity is available 24/7, generated through solar power supplemented by a generator. Our organic garden and citrus, mango, and papaya orchard produces the majority of our restaurant's requirements. Guests stay in fully screened, private cabanas with thatched roofs, bathrooms, ceiling fans, balconies, and hammocks.
Each day begins a new adventure, with locally guided tours to Mayan villages, ancient ruins, waterfalls and caves. Activities available on the grounds include chocolate making, horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, hiking, medicinal plant walks, or simply relaxing in a hammock. PRICES STARTING AT: $139.00/DBL
