This resort is not a concrete condo encompassed by concrete parking lots. Ramon’s Village is a sanctuary nestled in a tropical garden of Royal Palms, bougainvillea, lilies, hibiscus and dozens of other types of tropical flora. Surrounded by the plant life are Mayan sculptures that provide a glimpse of the civilization that preceded us in this Caribbean paradise. Once inside our enchanted village, you’ll be in a world of your own choosing.

Ramon’s Village Resort is conveniently located within walking distance down the beach of San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye. Though you have everything you need to enjoy a nice vacation, authentic palm thatch cabanas, fantastic beach, gift shop, dive shop, beach spa, lagoon style pool-it’s comforting to know that you are also conveniently located to such things as a doctor, clinic, pharmacy, grocery store, ice cream shop, etc. Unlike many Caribbean destinations, downtown San Pedro is not a collection of “brass and glass” towers; instead, it’s a charming main street setting with brightly colored two and three story buildings and single lane, one way streets – there are just three main, single lane streets running north and south so it really is a quaint downtown!

Regarded by locals and visitors alike as “the best beach on Ambergris Caye,” the beach at Ramon’s Village Resort is a 500-foot long, well-manicured, section of white coral sand. It’s a great place for sunbathing or relaxing in a comfortable lounge chair and reading or napping in a woven hammock under a palm thatched palapa.

Scuba diving, snorkeling, beach picnics, cave tubing, zip lining, Mayan ruins tours, jungle tours, hiking, fishing, Belize Zoo…there are so many things to do you won’t believe it! And when you feel hungry, visit Pineapples On The Beach, the on-site restaurant. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus all have a wide variety of selections to choose from, in addition to the daily specials. The property features ten cottages arranged around a central courtyard with a gazebo and fountain in the center. In contrast to the palm thatched cabanas at Ramon’s, these cottages are constructed to resemble a British Colonial cottage with brightly painted exteriors. Each room features Saltillo tile floors, mixed Belizean Hardwood ceilings, and private baths with tub/shower units and two queen beds which sleep four people.

Guests at the Belizean Princess will check in and out at the Ramon’s Village front desk and enjoy full use of all of the amenities Ramon’s Village has to offer its guests.

Saltillo tile floors combine with mahogany trim and cabinetry and the expansive palm thatched roof to provide an authentic Mayan feel with a Polynesian flare. The Presidential Suites feature an abundance of living space complete with a private bath with shower, kitchenette with bar counter and stools, a dining area with seating for four, a sitting area with a queen sleeper sofa and chairs and a writing area. The King size bed faces a wall of French glass panels opening onto a full length beachside verandah. Sleeps four people.
